Great food, awesome staff
An amazing Hollywood establishment that has not changed since the 60s. Hosted by an incredible waiter by the name of Edwin we enjoyed the evening with the best margaritas in town and excellent Mexican cuisine. Nestled right on the corner of Melrose avenue right across the street from Paramount studios, you could almost pass this place if you weren't paying attention but do make the effort if you have not been. It's a wonderful dining experience, fast and friendly service with ambiance and Hollywood history all wrapped into one.
MoreMexican food and service here is great. I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good I couldn't stop. Next time I'll be back with my relatives.
MoreThis restaurant is always a class act. Best margaritas I've ever had here.
Lucy's was amazing! I'm so glad my friend recommended this place. The food was great, quick and service was excellent! The drinks were awesome and the ambience was spectacular! I'll definitely be back. Thank you!
MoreExcellent the service and the food is very good.
Its hard to give a tex-mex restaurant five stars. But They treat you like they are genuinely happy you came. The food is typical tex-mex fare, however everything is fresh, well prepared and reasonably priced. The restaurant has a rich history. Googling it will be entertaining.
MoreNothing special. Pretty pricey for small snacks.
International cuisine under one place. Lots of variety to choose from.
I am Italian born and raised and the homemade food here is simply amazing! It seems you have never left Italy, fresh and REAL. RECOMMENDED if you want to try one of the best Italian food ever.
MoreI ate my first meal at Lucy's in 1969 or 1970. I lived in Hollywood at the time so it was easy to be a regular. When I moved around the corner onto Windsor, there were days I ate there twice.I moved away in 1978 to the East coast and haven't found better Mexican food since. I had the occasion to visit L.A. in the 90s and Lucy's was one of my first stops. I had one other gray meal there about ten years ago and the food hadn't changed. You're missing something if you don't try it.
MoreThis place is really authentic. The charm of the restaurant combined with the fantastic Chile Verde combo was great. Portions large enough to split. YUMMM!!!!!
MoreHeaded over there after the 10/4 event! Great service! Great good! Relaxing atmosphere! 👍❤
Moremexican food and the setting here is quality. Service is always excellent even when they have a full house. Bring your appetite because portions are large.
MoreCan't go wrong with this Hollywood staple. Great Mexican food and ambience.
Great ambiance and great for private parties. Amazing chicken burrito
Weird old school decor. Wonderful staff!
My boyfriend and I were served by Ricardo and he was so nice and made our experience at Lucy’s amazing! We are from Toronto, but travel to LA a lot to visit family; we will definitely be back! Thank you so much Ricardo, you were wonderful!
MoreGreat margaritas steps from Paramount! Perfect after work drinks location!
mexican food, mmm, quality stuff. the service was very welcoming and observant. the place has a good atmosphere. atmosphere is like a restaurant in fort worth i loved.
MoreFood is great. Prices are fair. Decor is unique. Staff in nice. Would love to come back
MoreClassic Hollywood restaurant with amazing Mexican food, starting with some delicious house made chips and salsa. Get the BBQ Beef Taco and thank me later.
MoreNice place. Good service
Love the eclectic space, but the food left much to be desired.
Mexican food... super yummy. food was so fresh. i'll return friends next time. food is like a restaurant in louisville i loved.
MoreAbsolutely Incredible! If you know, you know.
My preferred place for tasty Mexican food. Definitely one of the best places in the area. Prices are appropriate.
MoreSoup so very good, salad so very good.
Hola, And Hello. I would love to put a note that I Steve Acevedo did the painting of Lucy from her restaurant. A card or note. I love going there. Lucy become a good friend before dying. Steve Acevedo 2018 Muralist and Fine Artist God Bless Lucy.
Moremexican food and the scene at this location is super good. I love this place, excellent food & service. Fast and courteous service. The place has a good feel to it.
MoreThe only reason there’s one star is because I can’t give it 0. The food was DISGUSTING when you walk in the restaurant had a gross smell. The service was slow and it was way to expensive. The food was absolutely not worth it my family and I left with only one bite taken. I do not recommend.
MoreMy go to Mexican food place.Good atmosphere & friendly service..
Super low key but cute environment. Authentic Mexican food -quite tasty but don't expect anything fancy!
MoreI liked it only because it was across the street from the studio but unfortunately aside from the cold beer everything else was a little bit mediocre except for the carne asada which turned out to be pretty good sirloin steak
MoreExpensive & food average. Good service, Great atmosphere
I really like this place. It's a pretty large restaurant and there is always a spot to go for a quiet meal. The food is standard Mexican American fare. There are a two outdoor areas to have a meal or a drink. The restaurant is a popular celebrity hideout. It's located near a few Studios on Melrose and is almost always quiet. A newspaper article framed on the wall describes the atmosphere perfectly "where the elite meet discreetly."
MoreAlways fun and good food but I wish they had vegan choices
We went because this is where Linda Rondstat and Governor Jerry Brown met. Very authentic old school Mexican food. Spicy hot sauce and good food, friendly service. Liked it a lot.
MoreOne of my favorite places for delicious mexican food. The service was very welcoming and observant. Bring your appetite because portions are filling. Ambience is similar to Fresno's scene.
MoreServer let us sit without menus, water or service after we waited 20 minutes and explained to the server that we had to go in 45 minutes. Need a manager to help customers.
MoreThis place has been there for years, has a placque from the city of Los Angeles in appreciation, and serves the best salad dressing I've ever tasted. The food is delicious, although a bit pricey, I make it a definite stop on my list whenever I'm in the area.
MoreGood place for Mexican food. the place has a good atmosphere. food is similar to a cafe in portland i liked.
MoreExcellent place for quality mexican food. They have so many great reviews for a reason.
MoreIf you're looking for good food, go somewhere else. It was very disappointing. Honestly, this place is barely a step up from taco bell.
MoreThe food was good and the location was walking distance from the hotel I was staying in. The staff was professional and the restaurant was clean.
MoreGreat chips and salsa here. Margarita was also very, very tasty!
I always make a first test with Chile Relleno in a Mexican place (Huntsville a mistake); ever since Linda Ronstadt met Jerry Brown here, the test was a smash success. I imagine Paramount happy worker-bees here for lunch daily! Killer Margaritas too, happy hour!
MoreLove the atmosphere, the service, and the food was good too!
